Them charge Etim ontop two-count, weh be, using by force to enter person weh dey near you (weh oyibo dey call, bordering on rape) and another one wey him say lai-lai, him no commit the offence.
The prosecuting counsel, Mr Samuel Offiah, talk say the man commit the offence on Feb. 13, 2018, for Sauka area inside Abuja. Him tell the court say the man use by force enter the 13-year-old girl. Offiah talk say the offence contravene the provisions of Sections 1 and 5 (1) of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act, 2015.
Mr Dickson Umoru, weh be Etim lawyer come apply for bail. The judge, wey be Justice Peter Kekemeke, come give the man the sum of N20 million as bail and one surety wey get the same amount of money, him come adjourn the case until Feb. 21 for trial.
