Them been bring One 31-year-old tenant, wey him name na Abass Babatunde, come court for Lagos because of say him beat beat and pons pons him 63-year-old landlord.
Babatunde, wey dey live for No. 8 Omo Osagie St., Iju Ishaga, for Lagos, dey face two-count charge for watin oyibo dey call assault and malicious damage, for one Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ court.
The Prosecutor, wey be Sgt. Michael Unah, tell the court say the accused been pons pons him  landlord, wey be Mr. Rahmon Adewale, him say babatunde been use blow pons pons all him face, because of one misunderstanding wey them get. Him say the accused been commit this offence on Dec. 26 around 9.30 for night.
Unah talk say the accused been spoil the padlock of the landlord gate, wey be like N2, 500.
According to the prosecutor, Babatunde been meet him landlord as him dey try to lock him gate, him come tell him landlord say him wan comot go buy medicine for him pikin wey dey sick. Na him the land lord say him no go fit comot, because of say time don go. And say e don late. Na that vex make babatunde pons pons him landlord come break the padlock.
The prosecutor con talk say This offence contravene Section 172 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015, wey suppose give three years for assault and Section 339, wey suggests two years for wicked damage.
Chief Magistrate A. A. Fashola, been give the accused bail of N5, 000 and one guarantor, and say this guarantor must get work wey him dey do, and him dey pay tax to lagos state Government. him come carry the case go February 18...
