One Dutse Magistrate court for Jigawa State don remand one 23-year-old man, Sha’aibu Adamu, of Warwade village for Dutse local government because say him allegedly kill him wife with axe.
The prosecutor, Barr M.Fagam, tell the court say, dem been accuse Sha’aibu say him kill him wife, Usaina after she refuse to comply with him request say make dem settle their differences, wey dem been get for their matrimonial home.
Him explained say, the incident happen when she been decide to move go her parents’ house and the accused person follow her to plead with am, so dat she go fit come back to him house.
However, on her way, na so Adamu allegedly use axe to hit her plenty times ontop her forehead.

The prosecutor talk say, after the incident, the accused been leave the late wife body for the bush, then him con run.
Magistrate Muhammad Lamin Usman talk say, Adamu committ culpable homicide, wey dey contrary with section 221 of the state sharia Court wey dey punishable to death after convictions.
The accused, been however, deny the allegation, as him talk say, the deceased been die for her parents house after she commot from him house when dem been get misunderstanding.
The magistrate, con adjourn the case go March 27, 2019 for further hearing.
