One statement from the anti graft agency talk say, one of the counts as them read am, be say:
“You, Ajibade Wasiu Oladotun sometimes for the month of March 2017, for Ile-Ife inside Osun State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with the mind to defraud, pretend and collect the sum of $2,300 (Two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars) from one Chris Odom weh dey stay for United States of America, under pretence say you be woman and your name na Lola Parker, and you dey ready to marry am and say the money na part of the air ticket weh go cari you for KLM flight from Lagos, Nigeria to go meet am for United States of America, when you know say na lie you been dey lie. Sake of that, you committ offence weh dey contrary to Section 1 (1) & (2) and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006”.
Oladotun beg say, him no dey guilty to the charges.
Prosecuting counsel, Adeola Elumaro, come apply for another date for trial while dem go remand the defendant for prison custody.
But the defendant, Babafemi Iyiola, come move for bail.
Justice Onyetenu grant the defendant the sum of N20 million as bail and two sureties weh get the same amount of money and one of them must be Civil Srvant not below grade level 14.
Them don adjourn the case to February 26, 2019 for trial, and the defendant go still remain for prison custody till him meet the bail conditions.
